Q. How long does it take for LuxuryWebHosting.ca to process my application and set up my account?
A. Generally, if all of your billing information is in order, it should take between 1-12 hours to set up your account.

Q. Who do I contact in case of a billing problem?
A. In the event of a billing problem or to cancel your account, please contact us.

Q. What control panel is offered with your hosting packages?
A. All hosting plans are equipped with the latest cPanel account with Fantastico De Luxe.

Q. How do I access my cPanel website control panel?
A. Navigate to http://www.yourdomain.com/cpanel

Q. Can I select my own user account name?
A. Your main account user name is automatically generated and cannot be changed.

Q. I have been notified that my account has been set up but my site is still not active.
A. If you have received a notification e-mail and it's been over 48 hours, it means either that you did not point your domain name to the right DNS servers, or that your ISP's DNS server has not yet been updated. It generally takes 24 hours for domain names to become active. This is just how the Internet works; there is no way we can speed up the process.

Q. I have NOT been notified that my account has been set up and its been over 24 hours.
A. This could be caused by a provisioning error. If you have not received any e-mails from us with a few hours of ordering please contact us.

Q. What DNS should my domain name point to?
A. Your welcome e-mail will detail which of our DNS servers you should point your URL to.

Q. Does e-mail or FTP count against my bandwidth limit?
A. Yes. All FTP and incoming/outgoing e-mail traffic counts against your total bandwidth.

Q. Do you support MySQL?
A. Yes. We run MySQL server version 5.0.51.

Q. How can I edit a MySQL database table without creating an application?
A. CPanel allows you to use phpMyAdmin to edit MySQL tables through the use of SQL query language.

Q. Do you support CGI/Perl scripts?
A. Yes, every site comes with its own CGI-BIN to allow you to run your own perl scripts.

Q. What path name should I use for CGI/PERL scripts?
A. You may use either #!/usr/bin/perl  -or-  #!/usr/local/bin/perl

Q. Will you place any ads on my site?
A. Not at all. LuxuryWebHosting.ca does not place any advertisement on your site whatsoever. No banners, no annoying pop-ups, nothing.

Q. Will I be able to send and receive e-mail through LuxuryWebHosting.ca?
A. Yes! You will be able to send and receive e-mail through our servers.
